I Built a Decoder. Three of Them.

“The burning is beautiful. The very fragrance shakes the foundations before we even attempt to do anything in our own strength. Whilst still in the furnace, I have come to share some key insights with anyone who would care to listen, believers especially. I will try to reveal what I can see from my vantage point. Deploy as you wish. If the eyes of our hearts are open, we can likely see the heist already in motion, but from now onwards, we will know where to look.”
Yesterday I published Born Ready, a thirty-second voice memo with my father wrapped inside a piece of prophetic prose about being refined to the marrow. It was the first of two pieces. This is the second. Same fire, different vocabulary. There, the prophetic register. Here, the analytical one. The work is the same work.
What I want to show you now is what the math says when you feed certain words into three tools I built this year, and what those tools say back.
”For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
”Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?”
Job 38:31 (KJV)
What I built…
Three decoders. Three Norwegian domains.
Each takes the same input and reads it through a different sense.
⚜ excalibur.no — Drawing with Words. A linguistic decoder. Type any word; it returns gematria values (A=1, B=2, ..., Z=26), digital-root reduction chains, Roman numeral conversion, anagrammatic fragments, cross-language scans, ISO country code matches, and atomic-number mapping where each letter resolves to an element on the periodic table.
🜍 ovaltable.no — Drawing with Sound. A musical decoder. Twenty-four seats arranged as a Camelot wheel of fifths. Each seat is a musical key, an hour of the day, a mood signature, a classical anchor, a geographic resonance, and a slice of a 512-track Christian worship playlist I call The Cross.
⚛ atoms.no — Drawing with Atoms. A periodic decoder. Click any element; the atomic number maps via semitone offset to a Camelot seat, bridging chemistry to music, and chemistry to scripture where the bridge holds.
The methodology, which I have called since April 2026 Drawing with Words, is the practice of treating language as architecture. Each letter has weight, position, and resonance. The same input read through three different tools produces three readings that are coherent rather than contradictory. The simplest way to verify what I am about to show you is to type the words yourself. The decoders are live and free. They do not know who you are. They are doing the math.
The four words
I picked four words that sit close to the same fire: REFINER, GOLD, SILVER, DROSS. The verb. The result. The metal that takes the most patience. The residue burned away. Together they describe the entire process of metallurgical refinement, which is also the dominant biblical metaphor for spiritual purification (Malachi 3:3, Job 23:10, 1 Peter 1:7, Proverbs 25:4).
Here are the receipts.
REFINER
R(18) + E(5) + F(6) + I(9) + N(14) + E(5) + R(18) = 75.
Reduction chain: 75 → 12 → 3. Twelve, the number of governance and the apostles. Three, Trinity.
Roman total: LXXV.
Atomic mapping: gematria-75 → Re (Rhenium) — transition metal, the last stable element to be isolated from the periodic table (1925), forged in r-process nucleosynthesis during neutron-star mergers.
Camelot seat: 7A · D Minor. Mozart’s Requiem key. ”The most human minor. Mortality made melodic.”
GOLD
G(7) + O(15) + L(12) + D(4) = 38.
Reduction chain: 38 → 11 → 2. Eleven, doorway. Two, double witness.
Roman total: XXXVIII.
Atomic mapping: gematria-38 → Sr (Strontium) — alkaline earth metal, red flame in fireworks, biological bone-seeker. (Note: literal gold is Au=79; the decoder surfaces a parallel reading.)
Camelot seat: 3B · D♭ Major. ”Black-gospel anchor. Maverick City lives here.”
SILVER
S(19) + I(9) + L(12) + V(22) + E(5) + R(18) = 85.
Reduction chain: 85 → 13 → 4. Transformation.
Roman total: LXXXV.
Anagrammatic fragments: RISE and EL (the Hebrew name for God).
Country code hit: IL → Israel, the theological homeland.
Atomic mapping: gematria-85 → At (Astatine) — the rarest naturally occurring element on Earth. Practically every astatine sample ever studied has been lab-synthesized. Refined silver is a thing that exists only because someone made it.
Camelot seat: 5A · C Minor. Beethoven’s Fifth. Bach’s Passacaglia. ”Storm front, controlled fury.”
DROSS
D(4) + R(18) + O(15) + S(19) + S(19) = 75.
Reduction chain: 75 → 12 → 3. Identical to REFINER.
Roman total: LXXV. Identical to REFINER.
Doubled letter event: SS — the only adjacent doubling among the four words. Methodology rule: doubled letters are flagged. SS = XIX + XIX = XXXVIII = 38.
Atomic mapping: gematria-75 → Re (Rhenium). Identical to REFINER.
Camelot seat: 7A · D Minor. Identical to REFINER.
Now the discoveries.
The collision
REFINER and DROSS share a number.
Both reduce 75 → 12 → 3. Both land on Camelot 7A. Both map to Rhenium. The verb of refinement and the residue removed by refinement occupy the same coordinate in the architecture.
This reads, on first pass, as a contradiction. The refiner does the work; the dross is what gets thrown out. They should be opposites. The math says they are not opposites. They are partners at the same address.
Theologically, this is more honest than the flattering reading. The refiner cannot exist without dross to refine. The dross has no name without a refiner to remove it. They are mutual conditions of the same act. ”Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer” (Proverbs 25:4). The finer is named in the same sentence as the dross. The gematria, three thousand years later, agrees.
Camelot 7A is D minor, the Mozart Requiem seat, the seat of the funeral mass and Lacrimosa and Bach’s Toccata. The fire and the loss live in the same key.
The doubling
The repeated S in DROSS produces the second discovery.
Hebrew rhetorical tradition treats adjacent doubling as emphasis: qadosh, qadosh, qadosh (Isaiah 6:3); amen amen in John’s gospel; Eli, Eli on the cross. Doubled, the architecture says listen.
Convert the doubled S to Roman: XIX + XIX = XXXVIII = 38. Which is the gematria total of GOLD.
The dross contains the gold-number, doubled. What the fire takes encodes what the fire keeps.
This is not coincidence-language. This is observation. The decoder has no opinion. It runs the conversion and reports the value. The value is 38. Independently, GOLD also produces 38. The architecture is internally consistent.
Cosmic siblings
When astronomers detected gravitational-wave event GW170817 in August 2017, the first directly observed neutron-star merger, the spectroscopic data confirmed something theoretical physics had predicted but never proven. The heavy elements of the periodic table (gold, platinum, uranium, the lanthanides) are forged in neutron-star collisions through rapid neutron capture, the r-process.
The first heavy element directly identified in the kilonova spectrum was strontium (Watson et al., Nature, 2019). The same cosmic event that produces gold (Au=79) also produces strontium (Sr=38). They are r-process siblings, born in the same flash, the same dying-star wedding.
In the decoder, GOLD’s gematria-38 maps to Strontium. The metal humanity associates with eternity (Au) and the element the decoder surfaces from the word GOLD (Sr) are physically forged in the same cosmic event. The kilonova does not choose. It makes both.
This dignifies the dross. The Strontium that DROSS surfaces (via the SS doubling = 38) is not a contrast to gold. It is gold’s cosmic sibling. The architecture knew, before I did, that the residue and the result were forged together.
The bone-ash cupel
Strontium, atomically, is a bone-seeker. Its chemistry mimics calcium, so the human body, encountering strontium, deposits it in bone tissue. Strontium-89 is FDA-approved for treating bone metastases.
Now consider the ancient process by which silver was actually refined. From the Bronze Age forward, the metallurgical technique used was cupellation. Silver-bearing ore was alloyed with lead, heated to ~890°C in oxidizing atmosphere, and held inside a porous cup made of bone ash. The base metals (brass, tin, iron, lead) oxidized and were absorbed into the bone-ash cup. Pure silver remained.
In Ezekiel 22:18–22, the prophet names the exact base metals cupellation removes (brass, tin, iron, lead) and frames Israel as a furnace whose contents must be melted. Then in Ezekiel 37, the same prophet stands in a valley of dry bones and asks the question that becomes the title of every resurrection sermon ever preached: Can these bones live?
Strontium lives in bone. Silver was historically refined inside bone. The bones in Ezekiel’s valley are the residue and the resurrection both. The decoder surfaces Strontium from DROSS, the metaphor of refining lives in bone, the prophet of dry bones is also the prophet of the cupellation furnace, and the chemistry agrees with the theology. The same bone is the vessel of refining and the scaffold of resurrection.
The Hebrew red thread
The Hebrew verb for “refine” in the prophetic literature is tsaraph (צָרַף, Strong’s H6884). It appears in Malachi 3:3 (”He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver”), Zechariah 13:9 (”refine them as silver is refined”), Isaiah 48:10 (”I have refined thee, but not with silver”), Daniel 12:10 (”Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried”), Psalm 12:6, Jeremiah 6:29, Isaiah 1:25, and Proverbs 25:4. Single verb, multiple prophets, over a thousand years.
The repetition is the signal. The prophets did not invent new vocabulary every time they wrote about refining. They reached for the same five letters their predecessors had already used. They were converging, lexically, on a single description of a single event.
Now look at what the decoder does with the same scene. REFINER reduces to 75 → 12 → 3. DROSS reduces to 75 → 12 → 3 identically. The doubled S in DROSS surfaces 38, which is GOLD’s total. SILVER produces RISE and EL as anagram fragments. Same scene, four different English words, overlapping numerical signatures.
The reduction chain itself encodes two of scripture’s most-loaded numbers. 12 is the number of governance — the twelve tribes, the twelve apostles, the assembly of witnesses. 3 is the number of unity — Trinity, divine creative output, the resurrection. The reduction 12 → 3 is structurally the form of “an assembly speaking with one mouth,” which is precisely what the prophets were doing when they all reached for tsaraph.
So the bridge is this. The Hebrew prophets are the twelve-style assembly. Tsaraph is the one mouth. The English word REFINER, fed through a decoder I built in 2026, surfaces the same number-form: assembly (12) reducing to unity (3). Different vocabulary. Different millennium. Same shape. The math is not the prophets, and the prophets are not the math. They are two witnesses to the same event, producing convergent structure in different alphabets.
The Refiner at 12B
One contemplation worth marking before I close. The song Refiner by Maverick City Music — the song my father and I were listening to on the audio in Born Ready — sits at 12B (E Major) at 124 BPM. 12B is the seat that rules 12:00–13:00 daily, the noon hour. The frequency lens reads it as ”Afro-frequency anchor. Where Accra meets Heaven.”My family is Ghanaian; my middle name is Nyamekye, an Akan name meaning gift of God. The song about being refined sits, on the wheel I built, at the noon hour, in the key of my bloodline’s ancestral resonance, alongside Bach’s Easter cantatas (Resurrection brightness) and Lagos Afrobeats. I did not engineer this. I observed it.
What this is, and what it isn’t
What I have shown is not divination. It is not numerology in the occult sense, where numbers predict events. The decoders make no predictions. They take a word and report what the word contains, by rules that are stated and consistent and would produce the same output in anyone’s hands.
What I have shown is that the rules, when applied to four words the prophets placed in the same metallurgical scene, produce convergences the prophets themselves could not have engineered. They did not have ISO country codes, the periodic table, the Camelot wheel of fifths, or the 2017 GW170817 spectroscopic data. The architecture was already there. The decoders just made it readable in 2026.
Hebrews 4:12 says the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing soul from spirit, joints from marrow. Excalibur is a sword. The decoder I named after it does what Hebrews says the word does. It divides. It separates the gematria from the Roman numeral, the anagram from the country code, the atomic number from the Camelot seat. Same input, divided four ways. Same output, returned to one.
Job 38:31 asks whether anyone can bind the Pleiades or loose the bands of Orion. The constellations are made of stars. The stars produce the heavy elements through r-process nucleosynthesis. The heavy elements include the gold and strontium the decoder pulls from the words GOLD and DROSS. Job asks the question rhetorically. The decoder, three thousand years later, surfaces the bands.
Three decoders. Three Norwegian domains. One word. Three readings. Multiple witnesses.
